Do you vet the realtors and I can trust giving them access to the home for a showing? Or am I supposed to vet them?

If a buyer or buyer’s agent schedules a showing through Houzeo Showings, they go through multiple levels of verification before gaining access.

🔐 Level 1 (L1) – Email Verification
  • The buyer must register on the Houzeo website using their email address.
  • They verify their email via an OTP sent during registration.
  • Only after completing this step can they place a showing request.
📅 Showing Request
  • Once L1 verification is complete, the buyer can submit a request to schedule a showing.
🔒 Level 2 (L2) – Document Verification (Required for Access Instructions)
  • To receive property access instructions, buyers or their agents must complete L2 verification via the Houzeo mobile app by submitting a selfie and driving license.
  • Access instructions are released 3 hours prior to the scheduled showing, only after successful L2 verification.
This layered verification process ensures better security and transparency before anyone receives access details.
