What are the steps to check that my property is listed on the local MLS?
After listing your property on Houzeo, there will be a set of documents that will be assigned to you on the Houzeo dashboard, such as the Input form, Listing agreement, and disclosures. Once these documents are completed, the listing agent will proceed to list your property on the MLS.
To confirm that your property is listed on the local MLS, follow thes steps:
Step 1. Access any third-party website
Open your web browser and navigate to any third-party website.
Step 2: Select the 'Buy' Option
Click on the 'Buy' option located on the main navigation menu at the top.
Step 3: Enter the Property Address
Input your property address in the designated search fields.
Step 4: Browse your Property
Open your property listing on third party website.
Step 5: For Sale Status
If the property's status on the third-party website indicates it is for sale, then your listing is active on the MLS.
Step 6: Locate the 'Source' Section
To identify if your property is listed on the local MLS look for the 'Source' section, which displays the name of the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) associated with the property
