You’ll need to upload photos before your property can go live on the MLS.
However, you can complete all the listing steps and required documents in advance to avoid any delays when you’re ready to activate the listing.
As you go through the listing process, once you reach the photo upload step, you may either upload a temporary (dummy) photo or skip adding photos and proceed to complete the remaining required documents.
All MLS-required documents must be completed and submitted for review. Your listing agent will review them, which can take approximately 24–48 business hours.
Since a property cannot be activated on the MLS without photos, you can finish the paperwork first and upload the final photos once they are ready, ensuring a smoother and faster go-live process.
