Who handles the paperwork once an offer is made?

Navigating the paperwork involved in selling a home can be overwhelming. That's why Houzeo offers flexible packages to suit your needs. As a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) company, you maintain control over your home sale, but we provide varying levels of support to streamline the process.

1. Silver Package:  In these plans, the agent or broker provides minimal services which typically include listing the property on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). In such cases, after an offer is received, the seller is responsible for handling the majority of the paperwork themselves. This includes managing offer negotiations, preparing and reviewing the purchase agreement, handling counteroffers, and ensuring all legal requirements are met.
   
   
2. Gold and Platinum Packages:  In this plan, the broker provides comprehensive services that include assistance with reviewing the offer contract and the paperwork, and ensure that all necessary disclosures and legal documents are correctly handled.

No matter which package you choose, we're committed to simplifying the paperwork process and making your home-selling journey as smooth as possible.

Upgrading to Gold/Platinum is free, but includes closing charges, 1.0% for Gold and 1.25% for Platinum, (minimum $999 for all the packages).
