My listing is Active, but I need to Temporarily stop showings (for Repairs, Sickness, Vacation, etc).
Once your property is listed, the buyer/buyer agent should be able to book showings right away. But if you want to delay showings, you have a few options:
Use a Showings App: If you bought a service like ShowingTime, you can choose when your home is available for visits by setting specific dates and times.
Note Preferences in Agent Remarks: If you don't use a showing app, you can tell agents your preferences in the private agent remarks section.
Mark as "Temp-off market": If the above options don't work, you can change your property status to "Temp-off market" to let buyers and agents know it will be available for showings, but not just yet.
When your property is marked as 'Temp-off Market', the cumulative days on the market continue to count.
Thus, you can pause showings even after your listing is live on the MLS.
