How can I temporarily take my listing off the market?

You can easily raise a request to mark your property’s listing status as Off Market by following the steps below:

Houzeo Mobile App 

1. Open the Houzeo Mobile App and go to My Home and select your property listing.

3. Choose Other Info as the request type.
   
   
   

4. In the description, mention that you want to temporarily mark your property as Off Market and clearly specify the start and end dates.

   • ⚠️ Make sure the off-market period is within 30 days, as most MLSs allow a maximum of 30 days off market.

5. Proceed to the next step and sign the amendment.

6. Once submitted, your listing agent will review and process the request.

Your property will typically be marked Off Market within 24–48 business hours after the agent takes action.Here are the steps to mark your listing as Temp Off-Market:

Alternatively, you can also raise the 'Change MLS Listing-Other' request from your Houzeo Dashboard, as well, please follow the steps below to do so:

Step 1: Click on the "Change MLS Listing" option on your Houzeo Dashboard.

Step 2: Click on "Other" option under listing changes.

Step 3: Add in the comment box that you want your listing to be Temp Off-Market, along with the reason for this decision and the date until which you want the listing to be temporarily off the market. After providing this information, proceed by clicking on "Continue to Step 2."

Step 4: To complete the process, provide an e-text signature by typing your name exactly as it appears below the signature field (remember that it is case-sensitive).

Once you have signed the amendment request, click on "Submit Amendment". This will create an amendment task that will be reviewed by your listing agent.

The listing will not be marked as Temp-Off Market, if you have accepted an offer. In such cases, the appropriate status for the listing should be "Pending."
