I reached out to Zillow, Realtor.com, and Redfin because my listing isn’t showing up. Redfin asked for an MLS fact sheet—how do I get and share it? Also, will my agent update me on what’s causing the issue?
We understand your concern about your listing not showing up on Zillow, Realtor.com, and other major websites. Here's what you need to know:
Potential Causes:
- MLS Syndication Issue: Sometimes, errors occur during the process of sending (syndicating) your listing information from the MLS to these websites which is an issue with the IDX technology.
- Internet Glitches: Occasional technical issues can temporarily delay the syndication process.
- Third-Party Website Delays: These websites may experience internal delays in displaying your listing.
Resolving the Issue:
Contact Houzeo Support or Your Agent: Depending on your chosen Houzeo plan, you can reach out to:
- Houzeo Support: Call 844-448-0110 for immediate assistance.
- Listing Agent: Contact your agent directly for personalized guidance (available on Silver, Gold, and Platinum plans).
- Both: If unsure, email your agent and cc Houzeo support (support@houzeo.com) for a comprehensive response.
Provide MLS Fact Sheet to Redfin: As Redfin requested, share your MLS fact sheet, and proof of your listing on the MLS. You can find it in your Houzeo Dashboard:
- Go to the left column.
- Under "Tell us your feedback," find your listing with a pin icon.
- Click the pin, select "Listing PDF," and download the file. Share it with Redfin via email.
- Please refer to the image below
Understanding Agent Communication:
The level of communication with your agent depends on your chosen Houzeo plan:
- Silver Plan: Limited communication. Contact Houzeo support for listing/MLS syndication issues.
- Gold & Platinum Plans: Personal concierge service with your agent to assist with forms, offers, open houses, and more.
Additional Tips:
- Respond promptly to inquiries from potential buyers.
- Keep your listing information accurate and updated.
- Be flexible with showing requests.
By working together and implementing these suggestions, we can help you get your listing seen by more buyers and achieve a successful sale.
