The websites (e.g. Redfin, Realtor.com, Zillow, etc) will typically attempt to locate the property by geocoding the address provided - this involves sending the address to a mapping service, such as the Google Maps API, and getting back the latitude and longitude. When Google Maps sees a non-recognized address, the results can be unpredictable, so the latitude and longitude it sends back to the website may not be accurate. This can often be fixed by providing the address that is assigned to the property. You can raise a report to Zillow/Trulia, Realtor, Redfin through Houzeo to get your location fixed on Zillow/Trulia, Realtor, and Redfin.
To "Report an Issue" to Zillow/Trulia, Realtor, and Redfin using your Houzeo dashboard, follow these steps:
Step 1 - Login to your Houzeo dashboard.
Step 2 - Find the option to report issues and select the website where you want to address the location problem on the map.
Step 3 - Customize the email as needed with the required modifications, and then proceed to send it.
