How to Change Preselected Listing and Settlement Agents on Houzeo - Easy Guide

I do not want the preselected Listing and Settlement agent and the system is not allowing me to move forward without those.

For Listing Agent:

Houzeo is committed to helping you achieve the widest possible reach when selling your home independently. To accomplish this, we work with local real estate agents to list your property on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). 

For your listing to be seen by the most potential buyers, it's crucial to be featured on the primary or local MLS. There are hundreds of MLSs nationwide, and we strive to partner with at least one agent in each area who is willing to work on a flat-fee basis. While you may only see one agent option initially, this ensures your property gets maximum visibility.

Houzeo's approach connects you with top-notch agents who can provide expert guidance while managing resources effectively. If you're not satisfied with the initial agent options, please reach out to Houzeo Customer Support. For Settlement Agent:

Houzeo helps home sellers by providing them with the information of settlement agents who serve their area. Houzeo home sellers are not obligated to use the services of the provided settlement agent. If you'd like to change the preselected Settlement Agent, you can do so easily through your Houzeo Dashboard. Simply follow these steps:

  1. On the Houzeo Dashboard, click on the '+' sign under "Your Team". Check below:



  2. It allows you to delete the existing Settlement Agent from your team. Check below:



  3. To add your settlement agent, you can follow steps 1 and 2 and click on 'Add Member' to add your settlement agent information.
