How to mark the property as Active again from Sale Pending, if the contract is terminated?

If your contract is terminated, you can update your listing status back to Active by raising a Change MLS Listing – Active amendment on your Houzeo account.

Follow the steps below to submit an amendment to change the listing status from Pending to Active:

1. Log in to your Houzeo account on the Houzeo Mobile App and click on My Homes from the bottom navigation bar.



2. Select the relevant listing by clicking on the Primary Image and tap 'Change MLS Listing'.

   

3. Under 'Listing Status Change', select 'Active'.

   

4. Upload the termination agreement
signed by both parties for your listing agent’s review and click Next Step.



5. Sign the amendment form and click Submit.

   

Once submitted, an amendment task is created and forwarded to your listing agent for review. The agent will action the request within 24–48 business hours and update your listing status back to Active.


Alternatively, you can raise an amendment from your Houzeo Dashboard.

Here are the steps to raise an amendment to update the status of your listing to Active from Sale Pending or Under Contract when the contract is terminated from your Houzeo Task Page:

Step 1: Click on the "Change MLS Listing" option on your Houzeo Dashboard.



Step 2: Click on the "Active" option under the 'Listing Status Change'.



Step 3: Upload the Offer termination agreement signed by both parties for your listing agent's review and click on "Next Step".



Step 4: To complete the process, please sign the amendment form. Once you have signed the amendment request, click on "Submit". This will create an amendment task that your listing agent will review.
