Houzeo is a user-friendly flat-fee service tech platform that enables home sellers to list their properties for a flat fee. When it comes to signing documents with multiple sellers involved, Houzeo streamlines the process through its digital platform.
Here's a step-by-step guide to ensure both sellers can sign the required documents seamlessly.
Title & Contact Info:
- The primary seller initiates the document by filling in all the necessary information, including the details of the second seller.
- It's crucial that, during Step 3 (Title & Contact Info), the primary seller enters the second owner's information to enable auto-population in the form.

- If the second owner's details are not entered during this step, they won't be auto-populated in the document.
Launching the Document:
- From the Houzeo Dashboard (step 8), the primary seller launches the document for signing.

- The document will prompt a window to confirm the details of both owners.
- If there are two owners, the seller should leave the checkbox "unchecked." If there's only a single owner, the seller should "check" the box to proceed.

- Signing Process:
- The primary seller digitally signs the document after the launch process and hits the 'Finish' button on the top-right corner when done.
- The document is automatically sent to the second owner via email for their signature.
- The second owner receives the email notification and proceeds to sign the document.
- Once the second owner signs, the document is automatically saved on the Houzeo Dashboard.
That's how easy it is for both the owners to sign the documents electronically on the Houzeo Dashboard. If you need any assistance or have any questions, feel free to
