Guide to Using Filters on the Houzeo Mobile App?

The Houzeo Mobile App’s Save Search feature includes a powerful set of Intuitive Filters, accessible via the filter modal, to help you find your ideal home. These filters allow you to refine searches by location, price, property features, and market trends, delivering real-time, map-based results.

Available Filters:

The filter modal includes the following filters, grouped for ease of use:


  1. Location Filters:

    • City/Zip Code/Neighborhood: Enter a specific city, zip code, or neighborhood in the text field (e.g., “Los Angeles, CA” or “90210”).

    • Map-Based Radius: Adjust the map boundaries by dragging or pinching to define a search area.

  2. Price Filters:

    • Price Range: Use a slider to set minimum and maximum prices (e.g., $200K–$800K).

    • Price Cut: Toggle to show properties with recent price reductions.

  3. Property Type Filters:

    • Single-Family: Checkbox for single-family homes.

    • Condo: Checkbox for condominiums.

    • Townhome: Checkbox for townhomes.

    • Multi-Family: Checkbox for multi-family properties.

    • New Construction: Toggle to show newly built homes.

    • New Listings: Toggle to show properties listed within the last 72 hours.

    • Lot Size: Slider for minimum lot size (e.g., 0.1+ acres).

    • Stories: Number selector for the number of floors (e.g., single-story).

    • Keywords: Allows you to search a property with a specific MLS number or any other parameter that is not included in one of available filters.

Steps to Use Filters:

  1. Access the Filter Modal:

    • From the Home Screen, tap the search bar (magnifying glass icon).

    • Tap the filter icon (sliders) to open the filter modal.

  2. Apply Filters:

    • Use sliders, toggles, and checkboxes to select your desired filters.

    • Combine multiple filters for precise results (e.g., “New Construction” + “No HOA” + “3+ Bedrooms”).

  3. View Results:

    • Tap “Apply” or “Show Results” to update the map view with filtered listings.

    • The map dynamically adjusts to show pins for matching properties.

  4. Save the Search:

    • The search will be Autosaved and you can accesss them from the Search Bar.

  • Start with broad filters and narrow them down to avoid missing potential listings.

  • Check the Hot Listings filter to find high-demand properties before they’re sold.
