Do any of your packages include the Attorney / Settlement Agent / Title Company cost?
None of our packages includes the cost of an Attorney, Settlement Agent, or Title Company. These expenses are typically paid at closing and are usually deducted from the seller’s proceeds. The exact cost varies by state, transaction complexity, and the service provider’s fees, and responsibility for payment depends on what is negotiated in the sales contract.
While these costs are not included, we do have settlement agents partnered with Houzeo (in some states) who can assist with the closing process. Once you begin the listing process, a settlement agent may be assigned to you, and you can connect with them directly to review their pricing and services.
Please note that you are not required to use our partnered agents and are free to choose any attorney, settlement agent, or title company of your preference.
