How to Add a Lockbox Code on Houzeo - Step-by-Step Guide

Can you add the lockbox code on Houzeo?

Yes, Houzeo allows you to enter your lockbox code under Houzeo Showing Settings.

Houzeo Mobile App

1. Login to your Houzeo Mobile App and click on 'My Homes" and click on your properties"Primary Image."



2. Click on the Showings Option.



3. Once you are on the Showing's Tab, click on the setting's symbol.



4. Scroll down and find 'Access Details'.  Choose the Access with a Code option, then select Lockbox or Keypad - Code Provided, and enter the Access Code and click on 'Save Changes.'

Houzeo Web Dashboard

1. Login to your Houzeo Dashboard

2. Go to the Showings tab in your dashboard and click on Showing Settings.


3. If the Schedule Showing option is disabled, activate it.



4. In the Access Details section, choose the Access with a Code option, then select Lockbox or Keypad - Code Provided, and enter the Access Code.



The access code will become accessible to agents or buyers three hours prior to the showing.

The access code is exclusively provided to agents verified by Houzeo through the submission of ID proof. This is because providing access to the property to someone without proper verification could lead to unauthorized entry and potential theft or vandalism. An unknown party may not treat the property with care, increasing the risk of damage to the premises or belongings inside.
