Can I terminate my MLS listing at any time? Are there any fees associated with canceling my listing?
The seller is in full control of canceling the listing from the MLS, as long as you have not accepted an offer and all the outstanding offers are rejected.
You may cancel your MLS listing at any time by submitting a Change Request through our website (assuming there is not a contract pending on the property involving a buyer who was procured by a cooperating broker). There are no cancelation fees/penalties or any other charge associated with the cancelation of a listing.
If you wish to reinstate your canceled MLS listing within the term of the listing agreement you may do so but there will be a reinstatement fee, and depending upon the MLS, it may be the same amount as the cost of a new listing.
There is no additional charge to cancel a listing once it is listed on the MLS.
